“The Gap Decaders”

Yesterday we had a special visit from “The Gap Decaders”, where they wrote an article about their visit and stay at our beautiful Vineyard.

“After spending a wet but blissfully quiet night in a lovely woodland carpark in Guadarrama, we made it into Portugal. We stopped in Salamanca for a sink washer as we had a small leak under the kitchen sink which needed repairing (there’s always something!) and we also filled our Gaslow tanks. The drive west was spectacular with huge and dramatic skies and stark landscapes. Our first Portugal EasyCamp was at Soito Wines, and what an introduction to the scheme! After a very warm welcome and fascinating tour of the vineyard and winery, we enjoyed a tasting. The small but perfectly formed vineyard is in the beautiful Dao Valley and uses traditional local grape varieties to produce really delicious wines that are unique and true to the owners tastes. Our spot is tucked away behind the main house, overlooking vines to the valley and mountains beyond. Perfectly level and with a BBQ provided, we feel very privileged to be in such a perfect place. Hot springs and more wine tomorrow! #motorhomeportugal #motorhomelife
